About Us

Lisa Eaves, owner and Executive Director of Heal from Within, is a board certified, licensed acupuncturist, specializing in acupuncture for reproductive health and allergy elimination. Lisa earned her Master’s level Professional Diploma in Acupuncture under the direction of world-renowned Chinese acupuncturists and herbalists Dr. Lixing Lao and Jingyun Gao at the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

She is a founding member and President of the Acupuncture Society of the District of Columbia, a Mid-Atlantic RESOLVE liaison and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.

Following her training at Harvard Medical School’s Mind/Body Medical Institute, Lisa established the Mind/Body Fertility Program of D.C. in 2004. These workshops are modeled after the famous Alice Domar Infertility Program in Boston, MA. The workshops are also strongly influenced by the mindfulness training techniques taught by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses now taught in medical centers across the country.

Heal from Within is a model health clinic, like no other in the DC area. The peaceful setting is conducive for settling frazzled nerves and calming anxieties. We‘ve raised the bar for creating an environment where patients not only receive quality health care, they become more intimate with their own health and healing process while learning to take better care of themselves, physically, mentally and emotionally.
